“房間非常寬敞，有浴缸，在英國以這價錢能有這樣的房間已是超值。附近有超市和Fish & chips shop，也算方便。因今次是自駕，所以酒店位置是沒問題的，但如果搭公車就不是太容易去到了。”

“Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. Luckily he mentioned it later, and it got sorted and refunded. Would definitely stay there again, beautiful old building, and although a pub was very quiet in our room, ……

“Only a continental breakfast available which was limited. The bedroom was spacious and newly refurbished. It had everything we needed. Great location for Wells centre.”

“The bedroom had no heating so we had to ask if a radiator could be provided. The bathroom the towel rail did not heat up and was extremely cold.”

“A very pleasant stay at “The Carps”. Very pleasant, helpful, friendly staff. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed and roomy shower room. The room layout reflects the history of the property with a couple of shallow steps between the bedroom and shower. We stayed for dinner and were rewarded by a tasty meal. A good selection of vegetarian options. Our usual habit of swapping plates half though very much went by the board. Breakfast was very good with both millennial and traditional……
