“Stayed two nights at this property, it’s very tired needs a total refit. The staff that I met are excellent helpful and very kind. The bed was fresh and clean, the bathroom was clean and the shower excellent. For what we wanted a bed for two nights and a bathroom was perfect. We’re very un entitled for someone else this might not work. There was a hairdryer fan iron and tea and coffee facilities fresh towels. I didn’t use the restaurant for either breakfast or dinner so can’t comment. We went……

“At first, we felt a bit hesitant since it was someone’s house and there weren’t any clear signs—we just walked onto the property. When we got to our room, it was lovely, though I was still slightly unsure because you could hear people in the main house, and I wasn’t certain about privacy or whether anyone could enter our room. “The swimming pool is out of order at the moment. was not notified of this when booking only a couple of days before I arrived. I was allocated room 56. Make sure you don’t get this room unless there is a heatwave. It was so cold that I had to ask to be moved during the night. The radiator does not appear to work in the room. I stayed for 3 nights, two of which had road closures outside the hotel . On the Sunday the road was closed from 7 am to 1 pm so could not leave unless you walked - and……

“A very enjoyable stay in a dated hotel. We were in a lovely clean and spacious room with a very good en-suite bathroom with a good bath and shower too. Friendly staff and a very good breakfast. We will definitely stay there again when we’re In Cheshire.”
