“If you are looking for a great place to stay, we recommend this place in Los Fresnos. Plenty of room. There were 15 of us including kids. The house was very spacious as well as the restroom in the master suite. The backyard was absolutely perfect with the pool, hammocks big screen t.v. on the covered patio, a nice grill and even a pit for making smores. The description of this property did not do it justice. The beds were amazing. We lived the bath towells. We come to SPI every year and I would……

“Sheets were not clean. Sheets are not breathable fabrics and the area is very humid. Our room had no fridge or microwave. Asked housekeeping twice for towels and never got them. Room smelled like mold and had black mold stains on ceiling. Bathroom walls had hair on them. Hotel is next to a very loud bar that is open until 2am on weekends. Doors closing in rooms around us were loud and constantly woke us up. I wasn’t expecting a palace but even the very bare minimum is not met here.”

“We checked in very quickly. The bed is very comfortable but the wifi is kind of slow.”

“The room was clean, but the covers were so thin that we were grateful that we took blankets. As per the pillows, Ive stayed at my fair share of hotels and each had given us at least 2 sets on each bed. Well we only had a total of 4 thin pillows for 2 full beds. Another thing was the online picture & the room description said beds would be queen size beds & I can attest both were full. The ac takes forever to cool the room down. Overall: hotel gets a 3. For the price it isn’t bad but I wish we……

“Housekeeping did not clean our room. The receptionist over charged me for my stay. I was not to happy with the stay for the same price I could have got a better hotel down the street with free breakfast. It will be one of those you only try once deal for me.”

“Room was a one bedroom apartment. Bring utensils cookware etc. Located across from Walmart, Dollar Tree, HEB stores so any items you might need can be purchased there. Was about 10 to 15 minutes to SPI. Only con I had was it needs blackout curtains as it is very bright at night inside the room unless you hang a small blanket something like that. Very inexpensive however and you do save a lot of money cooking and eating in the room.”
