The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area, and the food and service were of a very high standard. What stood out most was the friendly atmosphere created by the team, who genuinely seemed to care that guests enjoyed their stay. "Cosy double in the basement was actually quite large and came with a dressing area and huge ensuite. Also plenty of natural light. Comfy bed. Robes provided for visits to the pool/spa. Fantastic location. Negatives were the appalling TV reception and constant whiffy drain smell in the bathroom."

I used the sauna at the adjacent gym and was given a free locker key by reception, who were very professional and kind. The check out time was 12 noon, which is fantastic, and I was able to leave my bags at reception once I checked out as I wanted to explore more of Twickenham and Richmond."
