"We had a wonderful time at Galleon Resort. Everything was excellent, friendly staff, our beach cottage was clean and the bed was so comfortable, The kitchen was a added plus, we got supplies to cook breakfast everyday at the local supermarket just a short taxi drive away. The beach was so perfect right outside the cottage with breathtaking views! We also couldn’t have asked for better weather this time of year aswell! We can’t wait to come back!!! Highly recommend."

"Thoughts for review of La Vista. A Peaceful Retreat Above Mamora Bay After a week living aboard a sailboat while taking a sailing course, La Vista was a welcome change of pace and a lovely surprise. The property is beautiful, with all five suites overlooking the bay, and every detail feels thoughtfully considered. There are so many inviting spaces to sit, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings without ever feeling crowded. An impressive staircase leads down to the waterfront for those wanting to take a swim in the ocean, and there’s also a pool on the property. The hosts were attentive from the start, communicating with us in advance, picking us up, and even stopping at a local store so we could pick up a few groceries. With a fully equipped kitchen and the option of having meals delivered, it’s easy to settle in and simply enjoy the tranquility. Even with rain during our stay, the covered patio was a lovely place to sit outside with morning coffee while watching the sunrise, or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening as the sky changed at sunset. One thing worth knowing is that La Vista is off the beaten path. That’s part of its appeal, but reliable transportation can be challenging and taxis can be expensive. Renting a car would be helpful if you want to explore Antigua or dine out. We also had an unusually early airport departure, which required special arrangements with our hosts. We only stayed two nights, but La Vista left a lasting impression and place we’d like"

"We stayed at Antigua Bay Villa for 9 nights in August and had the most wonderful holiday. From the moment we arrived, every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch, and Andrew & Sarah were exceptional hosts throughout.We travelled as a family of 6, including 2 young children and grandparents, and the villa was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with high-quality equipment and everything we could possibly need.The pool was perfect for young children, and the beautiful, secure outdoor space meant we could genuinely relax. The location is another major strength: being on the doorstep of St James’s gives you resort facilities while retaining the privacy and luxury of your own villa. We loved our morning walks along the beach and seeing the wildlife!The owners’ information booklet was full of helpful recommendations, and swimming with the pigs was an unforgettable highlight. Vaness and Fenton were always available to help, and our driver, Evol, was a delight, sharing fascinating insights into Antigua’s history and culture.Hiring a car was easy, allowing us to explore some of the island’s beautiful west-coast beaches. We also loved sampling the local food, with Antigua Yacht Club providing a perfect final evening.We had an incredible time and feel very fortunate to have stayed here. Antigua Bay Villa truly combines luxury, comfort and convenience, and we would not hesitate to recommend it. We very much hope to return!"
