Slice of Paradise is our beautiful home. It is located on a canal. On the Gulf of Mexico side. A very comfortable living space. 3 bedroom 2 bathroom. King bed in Master and queen beds in other 2 bedrooms. Queen size sofa bed for guest 7 and 8. Modern amenities include large flat screen TV in living room and master suite. All other bedrooms have TV's. Internet, and cable TV. Large open living and dining area. Large kitchen area that includes dishwasher. Washer and dryer . Large screened in balcony off dinning area. Balcony has propane grill and outdoor table and chairs for six. Balcony area overlooks pool and canal in back yard. Available boat dockage space. Boat trailer can be stored in front yard. Close to a public boat ramp. Ramp is at corner of Aviation Blvd. and Harbor Dr. Fish cleaning station, water and electric outside on dock. Bait freezer on carport. Minutes from beautiful Gulf of Mexico and Vaca cut access to the Atlantic Ocean. Minutes to restaurants and shopping. Owner may be on property in lower unit. If owner is present no interaction with guests will occur unless guest initiate. Self check-in with key pad on front door. Guest have one flight of stairs to climb to home. Guest have full access to house and pool. Lower unit and garage not rented. Come fall in love with our Slice of Paradise in the Florida keys.

Great house
This is a great house with a very helpful property owner. We love the screened in porch, the pool, the dock, and the view of the airplanes. Beds and rooms were very comfortable and clean. Quiet street with little traffic!

The place is beautiful! The neighborhood is very quiet, the house was clean and had everything we needed. We loved hanging out at the pool after a busy day. The pool gets afternoon sun. Lots of jelly fish in the canal along with manatee. Favorite place to eat was Sparkys and The Key Colony Inn for happy hour $5.00 appetizers.

Truly is A Slice of Paradise
This is the best property i have stayed at. It was immaculately clean. The beds were really good, the furniture was nice and the kitchen had everything needed. The towels were nice. They had some basics like sugar and coffee and spices. It was very spacious. And the owner was nice.

Convenient paradise
We loved our stay. The house was laid out perfectly. The deep freezer under the carport was nice to store ice in. The parking was plenty for our boat trailer (22ft boat) and 2 SUVs, plus some! The step-down dock made it perfect for getting in and out of the boat. We were entertained by the air traffic from the airport. It's pretty awesome to watch FWC and others patrol the sky for mini season. The only complaint we had was the A/C difference on the bedroom end of the house (more than likely due to poor duct installation). Kids sleeping in the living room had to freeze so the bedrooms could cool down and be comfortable. We just slept with doors open and managed just fine. We had to use 33rd St to launch our boat due to the Aviation Blvd ramp being closed. However, we did take our boat out at the Aviation Blvd boat ramp at the end of the week. Communication was a breeze with the owners before, during, and even after our stay. We would love to return in the future!

Everything was great for our week in Marathon. The small touches made a big difference. The owner even left two fishing poles and tools out on the porch in case someone didn't have a pole. All is as described. Wonderful week!

A great value and location with great boater friendly access.
The house is perfect for 2 families. The location is behind the airport so yes there is plane traffic during the day. The bulkhead has a great cutout with stairs to access your boat. The canal is 7-12 feet deep and 25 feet at the mouth coming into canal. There is actually decent marine life in the canal from manatees, mangrove snapper, nurse sharks, barracuda, parrot fish, and more. This makes the boating access 24 hours a day with any tide. Many places in the keys are only accessable at mid to high tide and this place has no restrictions to tides. The boat ramp is very close on aviation blvd is not busy, even on a saturday but it only allows double axles or less for launching. The house itself is a normal 3/2 thats all tile which is set up very well. Beds and bedrooms are decent sized and the bathrooms are as well. Air conditioning works well and the screened in porch is lifesaver when the bugs come out. Having the BBQ grill on the 2nd floor is lifesaver as well considering the kitchen is right there as well. The fiberglass pool was clean and didnt burn anyones eyes. The deck and dock worked out fine for our 21 foot boat. The lights on the deck and dock are very nice and help a great deal at night. Parking for boat trailers is more than adequate and there are hoses located all over the house. The house has some extras that add a very nice touch. There is a deck box full of pool floats and noodles. There are 2 fishing rod set ups, box fans, chest freezer, and hoses

Everything was great.
Stayed here March 18-28 2023 everything was great. Occasional noise from airport but nothing terrible. Had a problem with gas grille one night, not sure why, it had worked the previous night. Pool was just right. Saw manatees in the canal. Host were very accommodating and friendly, and on site while we were there but rarely seen.

Wonderful house. Wonderful hosts. The house is very well taken care of and is quite beautiful. We saw manatees, tarpon and nurse sharks in the canal. It's a quick boat ride to the gulf. We spent a lot of time in the heated pool. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen complete.

Family Reunion or Not
My MO brother and wife and my CA sister never made it to our two-week family reunion. Luckily my husband’s MD friend joined us in the lovely 3 bedroom home on a canal, with a private pool. The location is excellent if you like airports. I completed my daily aqua pt exercises as hubby plays golf nearby. We enjoyed sunsets at Sombrero Beach and on our 8-Mile Bridge walks.

Great place to stay!
We enjoyed our stay in Marathon. Larry kept the pool heater on which made the pool warm enough to swim in, even when temperatures were cool out. We enjoyed fishing in the canal in the backyard and it was cool to see manatees in the canal. Location is great and only a couple minutes to the main road in town. The neighborhood is mellow and mostly quiet (you will hear some plane noise from the nearby airport). The home is comfortable and well equipped. We would stay here again.

Great location and plenty of space
We stayed at this property for mini lobster season. All communication was prompt, property was as described and was in a great location. Boat ramps close by, and a five minute idle to the gulf. Highly recommend this property if you are planning a trip to the Marathon area of the keys.

House was very clean and comfortable! Slept 6 perfect! Definitely could accommodate 8! We had everything we needed to cook a meal (minus food). Pool was clean and well maintained. The canal was perfect for launching our kayaks to watch the sunset in The Gulf! Checkout was super easy! And they didn't make us clean house before we left! That's a great bonus feature:) You won't be disappointed in this rental!!
