The staff we're incredibly considerate, thoughtful, and helpful. However the overall decision making by this property Lacks thought and integrity. Many of the facilities and amenities were closed prior to my arrival, but no one bothered to reach out and notify of this. This included the gym, the cafe, the lobby, and more than one restaurant. While I was there, they decided to close the main pool for maintenance. Again, they told all the guests this the night before they closed it. So in order to use another pool, I had to travel some distance to a different pool, that was much smaller, and much more crowded. In order to use a gym, I had to travel off-site to a local gym, pay and utilize additional time. It was a $20 cab ride to get there, and a $20 cab ride to get back. That or, a 20 plus minute walk there and the same thing back along a very busy street. These closures and plan closures should have been announced so that Travelers can be well informed. Despite this, mosquitoes in the room, constant losses of water pressure, and an air conditioning unit that was very fickle, nothing more than a "Sorry" was offered.
