“We had an absolutely perfect stay over Labor Day weekend. Plenty of space for ourselves and our five children (ages 4-15), and everyone had a great time. Exactly the laid back, quiet goodbye to summer we were looking for!! The kids caught tons of fish from the dock, and we all enjoyed kayaking on the clear-as-glass water. The house itself was charming and we enjoyed finding new antique treasures in every corner through the weekend. Exactly as a Michigan cottage should be! ”

“The location was good for our tour of Hillsdale College. Hadn't been to Michigan before and the countryside is beautiful. I wish the trip could have been later in the Fall when the colors come out because that would be awesome. Very nice place to get away and relax. ”

We loved so much about it…the quiet location, the fire pit, the boat dock, the large deck with seating outside, the gas grill and the use of the kayaks, the large windows facing the lake to view the beautiful sunrises and the view of the lake! The sunrises shining directly into the large windows in the back bedroom did affect the temperature back there. We brought extra fans and it helped. The small shower was interesting, but in no way would it keep us...
