The staff were great, the hotel is old and needs a remodel ASAP!!!!!! The restaurant down stairs had a very bad order that smelled like old carpet and mildew. We asked for a complimentary upgrade being a Hyatt member however we did not get an upgrade. The room was super tiny. All we heard was loud music from 8a to 2a including a loud bass constantly. They left earplugs in the room but did not inform us what type of room it was. This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed at. There is also some unmentionable things that happened as we were leaving and I’m just happy that I did not have my children with me.

Recently stayed at this hotel and I can not express how it is conveniently located. So many restaurants, shopping, beach less than a 5 minute walk. Staff was gracious and they came and made the bed, fresh towels and changed the wastebaskets everyday. We did Uber which picks you up at he hotel. Bed was comfortable and I loved the set up of the bathroom and shower. Also Bayside Marketplace is a 20 minute ride. We did eat in their restaurant the naked taco and food was great, mojitos were excellent and it was reasonably priced. We loved sitting outside and taking in the night life as well as speaking and just hanging out with other guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I’ve stayed at many hotels before which were 5 star hotels and I can say this is a good one.

The hotel staff robbed me & my boyfriend. Do not stay here! When we arrived to check in, everything seemed to be fine, but our room was not ready yet. So, as is typical, the woman at the concierge desk offered to have our bags stored while we waited. My boyfriend had brought along nearly $2,000 in cash for us to spend while on the trip which was stored in his bag. Later on that evening when we got to our room and opened his bag (that had been brought to our room by staff) to retrieve some cash for the night, it was gone. We then went down to the concierge desk to ask about it and let them know what happened. They seemed unconcerned and told us that there were not security cameras inside the area where our bags had been stored. Basically, they told us that nothing could be done. I want to stress that the only time during our travel when our bags were not with us was when they were in the care of Dream’s hotel staff. To say that I am extremely disappointed would be an understatement. I’ve stayed in countless hotels and have never had anything stolen by hotel staff. I was shocked to have had this happen. What’s more, the fact that they stole so much money from us severely impacted the remainder of our stay in South Beach. Avoid this place at all costs.

It’s my happy place in Miami! Rooftop pool and bar, an adjoining Mexican restaurant that delivers poolside. What more can anyone ask for? Only complaint is the in room A/C could have been cooler but in this summer’s heatwave, that was likely not controllable.

The pool was small, we had to ask for a fridge that worked and the cleaning service only changed the sheets once. But when asked for the fridge it did come in a timely manner and staff was very helpful at all hours of the night. Just on our last day there the fire alarms went off for pretty much 3 hours straight. Didnt inform us they were doing testing. So that might be a good thing to let guest know for the future. Last thing lighting could be better in the room, they were dim and not bright.
