The property is very cool with all its architecture. Carved front doors and carved hotel room doors. Very tropical. The only thing I didn't like is that the rooms can be very dark. They are painted a dark green along with the ceilings which can make the room dark. A lighter color would have been better.

The property was excellent. The staff was so kind and helpful. The staff treated me and my Aunt like royalty. The valet Fabian was amazing. The room was great. The pool was small but nice. The only thing I would say to improve on would be the lighting in the room was dark and one of the beds wasn't very comfortable. It was an excellent deal for the area. Coconut Grove is right outside the doors. The Coco Walk and the Peacock Park had fireworks not far from hotel. Thank you so much Mayfair House. It was great.

The staff at The Mayfair is generally excellent. The rooftop is pretty nice too. The restaurant, however, is painfully average, but since the area is packed with food options, this isn't a problem. The major issue with the hotel is that the walls are paper thin, and you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing, including every work of their conversations. I didn't sleep well at all due to this.
