Midpines Vacations from $379

The hotel seems like it's half abandoned. The Parking lot is cracked and broken; half gravel and half actual pavement. The facade is actively rotting. The hotel restaurant seems like it's still opening, but they keep all of the lights off. My room was fine, if dated, but the hotel gym is truly creepy. The carpet looks like it was purchased from a crime scene. All that's available is a yoga mat you could not pay me to sit on, a stationary bike and an elliptical that seemed functional. This place was clearly a massive venue in the past, but its glory days have long since faded into memory and the specter of total abandonment is not far behind. That being said, the staff was always friendly and helpful. Really, it's only worth staying here if you are flying out of FAT, as the airport is across the street.

The staff was very welcoming & attentive. Our room & amenities were clean/satisfactory. Unfortunately, we only had the experience for one night & were very satisfied.

My only reason for the low stars were 2 reasons! 1.) No pets allowed! Im and animal & pet lover so im absolutely bias! Sorry 2.) No trash cans outside! What's up with that? I'd like to empty the fast food wrappers etc out of my car when I stop to rest from traveling all day but I can't there because there is Not ONE trash can in the parking area! Aside from those 2 issues the place is Great! And somewhat isolated, which i really like!

Location was good right off Highway 99 and across the street from Forestiere Underground Gardens. Hot tub was dirty and there were roaches running around the pool area that had no outdoor lightening. The downstairs hallway was dirty. Room was clean and very spacious.
