“Lovely well maintained modern rooms with sparkling bathroom and plenty of hot water for great shower. Nice to see eco facilities. Breakfast and dinner were superb and akin to gastro pub quality and generously portioned. We wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we visit family in the area. “Myself and my partner were really impressed by the beautiful decor at Lanelay Hall the hotel and our room was very spacious - the biggest room I’ve ever had whilst staying at a hotel. “As soon as I checked in, friendly lovely staff members let me check in a bit early which helped as I had heavy suitcase and I got my room straight. They gave me recommendations for food nearby too which was really helpful as I wasn’t sure what was good local foods.
If you want a place to stay in Barry this is it for sure.
And one other positive right next to the Barry station within good walking distance.”
