“We had a pleasant two nights at The Kings Arms Inn, which is situated in a charming medieval village on the outskirts of Yeovil. The Inn is nicely medieval too with plenty of character. The room was very clean but we were disappointed that the room wasn't larger, as we understood it was bigger than the room we had last year, when we brought our dog. The Inn lets itself down with lack of maintenance in various areas; the carpet up to our room was heavily stained and the window covering was……

“The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm.”

Bed very comfortable & the small double room I had was perfect just for me. Food in the restaurant was delicious & there was a good choice. Breakfast plentiful, well presented & hearty. “The room was very clean, hosts were lovely. Breakfast was amazing. Only downside to the stay was I like the window open at night and the church chimes on the half hour and on the hour, but ear buds are provided👍 we had a lovely stay and will definitely stay again…”
