"We really enjoyed our stay in this little bungalow. It’s decorated perfectly for the area and the backyard is great for relaxing and grilling. My toddler enjoyed finding the kids toys and the kid sized chair on the patio. Esther was very communicative and we enjoyed her suggestions about what to do in town for our 2-day stay."

"Beautiful modern house, inside and out. Very nice appliances and features. Kids loved playing badminton in the grassy yard and watching the stars from the back deck! Very quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy. Wish we could have stayed longer. There are a lot of steps/stairs inside if someone is mobility challenged."

"This property was outstanding! The management was so organized and thoughtful. As far as I’m concerned it exceeded my expectations. We had virtually no problems. A few highlights include: everything was labeled. There was a book with clear instructions for everything. There were extras, such as baggies in the drawers, plastic wrap, tinfoil, and many spices to choose from. I also personally loved the little magnified makeup mirror. The loft was spacious and plenty of room to move around and it had curtains to give privacy and a separating wall. There was a half bath upstairs and full bath with shower downstairs. There was also a plumbed sink over the dresser in the master suite. It was cozy and comfortable. There was plenty of parking and outdoor and indoor games. Also, there is a small shaded stream over the edge hill, where there were some chairs set up so you could sit and watch the river if you have time. We didn’t have time. This is really close to Mesa Verde, which was our destination and it worked out great for back and forth travel. Thank you for a wonderful trip. "

The craftsmanship of the interior conversion is outstanding. The owners were also very responsive and helpful with our requests. I would absolutely stay here again if given the opportunity. "

"We enjoyed the property location. Close to all amenities. Beds comfortable, nice kitchen area, and loved the gas grill. The fenced-in yard was perfect for the pets and the patio seating was great. Nice towels! If you cook much while staying here, you may want to bring your own spices. We brought our own paper towels, and definitely needed them. We were a little concerned about the livingroom furniture as the sturdiness was questionable. Overall, we were very happy and will return if they'll have us. "

"We visited the Mesa Verde National Park, drove many scenic drives in the area, rode the Durango to Silverton Railway, shopped with the many businesses in the area, and very much enjoyed our stay at Bears Den Studio. It was comfortable, clean, and had anything you might need. The bed is very comfortable. Michelle is very kind and helpful. She suggested scenic drives and was always quick in responding to questions via message. I love her decorum both inside and outside the home. Our stay at Michelle’s Bears Den Studio was a very good decision."
