"Quaint inn with comfortable rooms in 3 buildings. The 2-story blue building has a 19thc fisherman village vibe. The photo is deceptive- it looks like you have the whole main floor- the living room and the bedroom. The listing is only the bedroom. It’s a less expensive room without a view that is only steps away. Not large room but tall ceiling. Great bed with great pillows- soft mattress which I prefer. Nice little gas fireplace. The Monterey Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This is an older older hotel but that’s what makes it so cozy. My room didn’t have central heater/air but had a fire place. Some rooms do have Central heating and Air I think you need to ask the front desk if that’s important to you. My room was Comfy and clean. Staff was super friendly. They do provide valet parking and it is expensive they say it’s like $30+ dollars but after all these ridiculous add one it’s like $60 still it’s a great hotel "
