"This property was everything we could wish for in a lakeside cabin. Secluded, quiet & beautiful land complete with a gas grill, fire pit, porch seating for cool evening dinners, spacious dock for lazy days fishing or swimming and a canoe with paddle’s & various sized life jackets for exploring lake Smith. The cabin was super clean with all of the necessities. The beds & linens are comfy with extra blankets just in case. We loved our stay & recommend to everyone."

"This amazing home is at the end of a quiet street. Its backyard backs up to a creek off of Wilson Lake. You are right down the road from Elgin so you can make quick trips to the store if you need to. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"The house feels like a 'home' instead of a 'rental'. The property is so quiet, even with neighbors. The drive was easy and plenty of parking. A lot of lake houses have steep driveways and even steeper walks to the water. This house has a long, smooth driveway and an almost flat walk to the dock/water. Everything in the house is well built. "When my Wife and I were looking for a mini vacation, my first words were quiet with maybe a little fishing. If you like the sound of birds and the wind rushing through the trees, you have found your happy place. A most excellent choice for couples with perhaps a small family. We must have missed the whiporwhill season. I was hoping to hear them again. The fishing on Smith is always a gamble so prepare to catch a ton or none. The surroundings are top notch!
