“Upon arrival, we found out the pool was closed because of an “incident”. There was a ventilation system problem, so it was incredibly humid with fans in the hallway.. Our room was not clean. The carpet was really old & gross, I was afraid to touch it barefoot. There was hair on the bathroom floor & the lamp shade was splattered with something. We were there on a busy weekend for a football tournament and of course, all hotels around us were sold out. I read so many positive reviews on Expedia……

“My staff was almost excellent. The facility was experiencing some updates and therefore a little construction was going on. However, the plastic sheeting and prior notification of what I would see was appreciated and very helpful. All the staff from the front desk to the servers for breakfast to the housekeeping staff were very friendly. Made the stay pleasant!”

“The room appeared clean when you walked in, but the sheets and pillow cases smelled sour, cabinet door was broken off and slid to the side. Toilet kept running after you flushed it ( I shock the handled finally it stopped). There trash from previous guests under the bed. Staff were very friendly.”

“Wonderful room with private entrance. Bed is super comfortable and shower is huge and beautiful. As much privacy as you want. We wanted to meet the dogs who are kept separate from guests unless you want to meet them. They were friendly and adorable. Dawn gave great advice on places to eat, shop, etc. Wish we could had stayed longer. Next time it will be a destination instead of a place to stay over on a longer trip. ”

“I was actually floored at how nice it was. I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a place in that price range that was so clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-staffed. The guy running breakfast was like a personal waiter - amazing. Everything works and the pool was gorgeous. Staff are everywhere and enthusiastic to help.”

“Absolutely gorgeous setting on a bluff overlooking the Arkansas River. Wonderfully relaxing. The balcony off the bedroom was probably my favorite part. Well worth the drive. Highly recommend”
