"This is my favorite place to stay on Whidbey Island! I have stayed here twice for several weeks at a time, and frankly it is hard to leave. I usually come to help with my grandkids, so I have not yet had a chance to take advantage of all the amenities offered, but this time I did make time to enjoy the backyard. I live in a city so seeing the stars on several clear nights was an added treat. Anne and Rick are also the most responsive hosts I have enjoyed. I almost feel like I am coming home when I am here. Also I like to cook, and the kitchen is well equipped, which is not always what you find. Whidbey House gets all the stars!"

"We loved our stay! The house was perfect for our group of two couples and a dog. It was very well stocked and comfortable. The view was amazing from inside the house and on the back deck. It was great having a fire in the fire pit as the sun set. We enjoyed watching the ships and the sea birds. And Mount Rainier was an added bonus! The beach was great for our long walks. And the sunrise was gorgeous every morning. We were very close to restaurants and two farmers markets. Langley was just a short drive for more dining and shopping options. The host was responsive and helpful. Check in and check out were easy. And the onsite parking was spacious and convenient. We will come back again!"

"I love Mutiny Bay, I wish I was still there. Going up, we stayed at the resort just a few lots south. The resort is gone, but there is two multi-million dollar homes in it's place. I spent many hours fishing from that dock over the years. Mostly with hand lines. That is the only place I wanted to retire.I do have a idea about a few grab bars and please fix the kitchen faucet. Also, I wish I could have made it to the water. The home was great, but it had too many steps up and down that I couldn't navigate safely. All in all it was a wonderful place. And the deer were a great touch. Thank you. PKH"

"My brother and I rented this property to spend time with a family member on Whitby Island. This property has lots of space. I thought we were getting the top half of the home only but the basement was accessible, which offered a 3rd bed and second bathroom. We didn't utilize it but it's good to note for if we need accommodates here in the future. Very close to amenities. Front deck is extremely large and the wheel chair ramp was a nice feature given our family member had very limited mobility. Bedrooms were large, beds were comfortable, bathroom is large.The internet connection was terrible. Neither of us could get on so we just used our data, which also was spotty at times. This property would be extremely warm in the summer months as there is no AC but we had the windows open in the evening so it could off for a comfortable sleep. A barbecue would be a welcomed addition to this property as well.All and all, I would rate this property 4.6 out of 5. Worked well for for what we needed. Stayed 3 nights."
