“Property had exposed knob and tube, which is a fire hazard for this kind of structure. Due to the age of the inn, there is no insulation. Rooms must be heated with space heaters which further increases the risk of fire. The accumulation of dust and various other contaminants triggered allergic reactions to several members of my family. On a positive note, food was very authentic and delicious. The comments and reviews need to reflect the condition of this inn.”

“This was a gem for our ski trip. Before checkin the staff was very helpful with transportation suggestions and questions. Because the road to the hotel is not drivable in the winter you call the hotel from the parking/bus area and they come and pick you up via snowmobile, this in itself was a fun experience for my son. The room was quite, clean, and had the right amenities. The food was Japanese but very good and staff ensures dietary restrictions are met. ”

“Es un hotel típico japonés , la comida deliciosas y además con la llave q te dan puedes ir a todos los onsen del pueblo. Independientemente de eso, todo el personal fue súper amable, unos hablaban más inglés q otros pero fueron muy pacientes con nuestro poco japonés y nos enseñaron nuevas palabras. Fue un fin de semana de castañas, relax y snow monkeys :)”
