"This was the most beautiful Ryokan we’ve ever stayed in. Wonderful hosts, beautiful rooms, amazing food, lovely Onsen and absolutely stunning walks in the hills and mountains around. Thanks to our wonderful hosts!"

"Fint välkomnande! Fint rum, god mat! Onsen var bra. Engelsktalande personal så livet blev lite lättare. Mycket god mat! Åker gärna hit igen."

"The room was spacious and the food was amazing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a Japanese experience and at a lovely hotel with attentive staff. "

"Excelente!"

"Unique and wonderful place. Outstanding service."

"We Stay with comfortable and really good and traditional Japanese Onsen hotel. Good taste of Breakfast and Dinner. "

"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. The location is on the main drag which is nice. But it should be 1/2 the...

"Very clean, attentive staff, and thoughtful touches made this a wonderful stay. We had a private bath, which was delightful! Loved our stay here, sad to leave "

"夕食の料理は良かったのですが、会場のエアコンがききすぎて寒くなってしまったのが残念でした。"

"Enjoyed our room and the tea. Didn’t have any problems sharing a bathroom and showers. The owners are awesome!"

"The staff here are wonderful! Beautiful private onsen experience and the dinner was amazing! Highly recommended for a recharge :)"

"部屋も広く、洗面台もトイレも広く 快適に過ごす事が出来ました。 何よりお風呂も良くて、男女の湯は朝と夜で入れ替わり、両方試せるのでオススメです。 朝食はバイキングですが、種類も多くて、美味しいですよ。"

"We stayed in this ryokan for a family trip. The city is unknown to non-Japanese people, but the people at the ryokan were so kind and helpful. Sometimes it was not easy to communicate as their English was not the best, but they tried their best to help. The meals were awesome, and the bath places were great as well. We were totally satisfied and I strongly recommend this place."

"This place is so authentic. It was a true gem of a Japanese experience for our family. We loved everything about it: hospitality, clean rooms, beautiful views, natural spring style onsens… Highly recommend!"

"I don’t believe this accommodation justify the cost if you will stay at this property without dinner and breakfast. I was able to reduce the expense for a night to c. $55 by using Expedia credits equal to $30, but if I didn’t have it, I would recommend to stay another one. Far from the center of Matsumoto Nothing was around the property Nothing would be provided to kids, such as amenities, welcoming tea and snacks, basically. The only nicer point was hot spring with good scene"

"Such a great and relaxing stay. The perfect place to return after a long day skiing. The Private tub on the balcony was fantastic. "

"Very clean and spacious room. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast and dinner are so delicious."

"A charming historical inn and hospitable hosts with great location, my partner was so reluctant to leave."

"初め所で静な場所、料理が美味しいかったです。ありがとうございます。"
