“The location was unbeatable and the hotel oozed charm with updates and attention to detail. Great decor, delicious little breakfast (the croissants were homemade and incredible, the juice freshly squeezed) and the staff was kind and thoughtful (there's a daily drink for guests each evening and when I told them I didn't drink alcohol, they brought me and my daughters a delicious non-alcoholic bottle....so thoughtful). Towels, beach chairs, bikes...they made sure we had everything we needed to……

“Well maintained B&B with lots of charm within walking distance to the ferry, shops, dining and the Whaling museum. Forrest and Giuseppe were lovely hosts. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.”

“So happy the Veranda hotel has rebuilt. It is out new favorite hotel on the island. Rooms are beautiful and location is unbeatable. Just loved it. View was lovely and breakfast very good.”

“We had a wonderful few days staying at West Wind. It was very comfortable , clean and spacious. The garden and deck a great bonus. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and each was modern and well planned. Lovely home. ”
