“The room was clean and bed comfortable. The ceiling had cracks in it and along the outside wall there was black areas at the top where the ceiling meet the wall. The breakfast was considered continental but was very limited and the coffee was from a dispensing machine. The staff was very kind and helpful.”

“Was a good hotel”

“Nichole was so helpful. We were arriving after 7:30pm and she suggested the J Huston Tavern in Arrow Rock for dinner. She also made our check in after hours easy. This Hotel is lovely and the gardens were beautiful. We loved this historic hotel and the Railroad History. We slept in a comfortable post bed. It was more than a hotel it was also a museum for us. Recommend, recommend and recommend.”

“Nice room & shower. Hotel is older, but in an historic way. Very safe - right next to police station & courthouse (free parking on street). They have bike storage & someone at desk all night.”

“Cons:Bathroom floor and bathroom tile were dirty. Shampoo & conditioner dispensers were empty and when I called they only had tiny bottles of shampoo, no conditioner. Used plastic cup on the floor by the bed. Musty smell of dampness in room. Breakfast was limited & inedible, glad I brought a protein bar from home. Pros: Good water pressure, hot water. Large mini fridge. AC worked well. Sheets appeared clean.”

“Most economical room on our travels this weekend. The room was clean, a little humid when we arrived, but it quickly cooled down. The breakfast was the best one I have had at a motel in quite some time, lots of options to choose from. We would definitely stay again. We recommended to friends who stated that their stay was also great!”

“I booked the hotel to watch my granddaughter’s All Star team. It was only 7 minutes away from field. Clean and convenient to everything! Loved the mini omelette at breakfast!”

“No elevator”

“The room didn’t have a phone, alarm clock, hair dryer, coffee pot, or any kitchen essentials as it was advertised as a kitchenette. Not too mention no breakfast was served on the site. Also we had to leave a day early due to the storm and gave plenty of notice and the man at the front desk said there was nothing he could do. The price was outrageous for a bed!!!! Won’t be back! ”
