“Plenty of parking available, with electric charging points for those that need them. The hotel is dog friendly. Ideally placed to be able to walk into Lyndhurst. Having a swimming pool is a great asset to the hotel.”

“The room was very nice but the restaurant service was disappointing. Slow service and they charged me extra which we didn't ask for. Ordered a steak burger which supposed to be 18 pounds but when we received our bill, there was surcharge of extra cheese and bacon which we didnt ask at the time of ordering food. The staff just added the extra and expected us to pay. We mede the the payment as we didn't want to mess up the experience. There is also 10 percent service charge which was already added……

“Daisybank cottage is a must for anyone looking to stay in the New Forest. The room was perfect - spacious, spotless and huge fluffy towels in the bathroom. Lovely touches in the room and so thoughtful. Great breakfast and friendly welcome. Its perfect for various walks without the car to get to start points, and close to pubs and eateries nearby. I will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay. ”

“Staff were great, room was overall lovely and clean but coffee and kettle was dusty and few bits in the room that was a little run down hence the 4 stars.”

“Overall the stay went well, although the room did not meet expectations after seeing pictures, with it feeling worn and in need of refurbishment, and the car park full of pot holes. You could also hear guests in other rooms, especially as they flushed toilets, used the shower, and made noise. Staff were friendly and inviting and beds comfortable. I would mark it more within 3.5 stars than the advertised 4 star. ”

“Great location a 15 minute from the centre of Canterbury. Very clean , great breakfast with lots of choice & wonderful hosts. Would stay here again & highly recommend . Definitely 10 out of 10. ”
