Ocean and Pool - First Floor - 2 Units combined

Newly renovated 2 unit cozy condos on the ground floor with adjoining inside door. There are two units which can be rented separately or together. Price is cut in half if renting 1 of the units. There are adjoining doors (which lock) between the two units. One unit offers a 1 bedroom with king bed, and also a pull out queen couch with full kitchen. The sofa bed should really be used for children. There is a queen blow up mattress in the unit.The second unit has two queen size beds. The second unit is an efficiency with refrigerator and microwave and coffee pot. Laundry room on site. Within walking distance to Chases on the Beach, Izzy Ice cream and Tacos, and 7-eleven across the street. This property sleeps up to 8 individuals. (or 4 on each side) Ocean front and door opens to the pool. Best location in town. 2 beach chairs per unit as well as beach towels. The condo does not allow pets. The condo was decorated in a such a way that we knew we were at the beach before we ever saw the water. Perfect amount of space for 4 adults who were there for a few nights. A convince stor across the stree next to a taco stand. We got what we needed. Pool is right outside the door, but we only had eyes for the beach, which is just beyond the pool. Loved our time in this unit and would definitely go back! Only con to the unit is the shower head on the side with the two queen beds. It was too big for the shower. As weird as that might sound.

We loved the room with connected space that could hold a few more people, my adult daughter stayed the night with us and when my son came by he had a spot to nap before dinner so that was nice. We didn't have to drive to get great food and drinks nearby. I thought from the photo that the smaller pool was a hot tub, but it is a kiddie pool, so I may come back with my granddaughter this summer. We didn't have any issues to reach out about, all the instructions for gate and door codes were easy to follow. Thank you for having us!

Sisters time alone
The place was great had everything we really needed or wanted the weather was almost perfect little loud with the kids in the area next time I think I will look for an over 55 place and I would like a dishwasher but other than that it was perfect. Everything was like it was said to be very happy.

Description: "UPDATE NEEDED"! 1 Night Refund
The pictures and description of property are not what we encountered. Storm earlier in week (prior to booking) had decimated the beach and all beach access. The entire beach was closed with all access stairs washed away or unsafe to climb. City workers and local police said the beaches were closed. The seawalls were unsafe. Some areas on seawall have 9-10' holes from the ocean washing out the vegetation and sand. If that was not enough, boards with exposed nails and jagged boards scattered these same areas. We booked two units for two nights. We stayed the first night and was out the next day at sun up. I thought for sure the owner would offer at least a refund for the second night. Here is what transpired. ..... I expressed my frustration to the owner via vrbo DM. Here is my exact message: "We will be leaving. The storm washed away everything. Sorry for you loss but we are here for the beach. The beach is closed. We are not local and did not know the impact was this great. Disappointing!" Owner response: "Didn’t know they had closed the beach. Next time you are going to be in the area, send me an email and you can stay for half price." HOW DID YOU NOT KNOW THE BEACH WAS CLOSED? Wish there was a place to upload photos. It was disturbing that the owner had no knowledge of her property damage and the risk to our teenagers.

Great Place...
Loved this place. This was the first time we traveled with at least 6 people for almost a week. This place was perfect! The first floor was a must have as we had some young kids in their 80's. The unit had all the essential items we needed from toiletry items to cookware to TV's in every room. Excellent communication with the host. We only communicated prior to arrival and she was always timely. There was never a need to contact the host during our visit. Also, the location could not have been better. Although, there had been some recent storm damage to access the beach, this unit is practically on the beach with a heated pool just as you walk out the door. We enjoyed it all, to include many of the local surroundings. We would definitely come back. and highly recommend!
