Suite was relatively spacious although I wish the room had had more light. Coffee in the lobby was a welcome treat, breakfast was good. Loved the little rooftop oasis! Would stay here again!

Great location. Comfortable and well organized room. Would prefer upgraded amenities such as sparkling water and better snacks. I’ve stayed at the sister hotel the library in New York and they have much nicer snacks/amenities.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was clean, modern and actually a very nice size especially for a New York Hotel. While most decent New York Hotels are expensive we found this to be a good value given the level of hotel, our room and its location. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is somewhat lacking especially when compared to some of the European hotels we’ve stayed in. All in all would definitely recommend Hotel Giraffe.

Room was lovely, but starting to show a little age. Loved the location and the healthy snacks offered in the lobby. Needed to request a coffee maker for the room. They do have a great espresso/coffee machine in the lobby, if you don't mind taking the trip down to get it in the morning, We would stay there again.

I've stayed here twice already and will likely keep coming back. Every room has a bathtub, which is very rare for NY hotels, and the room is otherwise just comfortable and the location is fairly convenient. (Not the most central but good enough.)

We stayed for 4 nights in September 2026. Staff were super helpful. Location great, centrally located. Decor was a little tired and old school. We thought there was a gym. There is not, other than a day rate of $30 per day 3 blocks away. No bar. Breakfast was ok with cereal, bagels and limited fruit on offer. Value for money was a 7 out of 10..
