The hotel itself was fine. Management must have been having issues at the time. I had to wait 30 minutes to check in due to a backed up line. Then, I was told they didn't have a room for me and were going to send me to a sister hotel a 15 minute walk away. I asked them to call the new hotel and confirm they had space for me, which they were unable to do and finally gave me a room at the original hotel. Several other guests had issues checking in as well.
Stayed here a few times. A good location: near RR station, lots of restaurants nearby, friendly staff, they let you store you luggage before/after check-in/out. But, maybe it's me, and I know it's NYC, the room was soooooo small (100 square ft) that my wife and I had to nudge by each other. Been here a few times and don't remember a room this small. Other than that, great shower, decent air and comfy bed.
