“We are from Florida were in the area for a funeral and our local family recommended staying here. We only needed to be here one night, but it was convenient, the staff were helpful as we arrived late, it was clean and the breakfast was adequate.”

“I was not impressed with this location. Room was very dirty, smelled like someone had been smoking in there for days, burn holes in the blanket, broken dresser.”

“The room was spacious and immaculate. The food was delicious. The grounds and all well maintained. My only complaint is the beds are hard. At 1 AM, I took the quilt out of the duvet cover and laid it on top of the bottom sheet to help pad the mattress. It wasn't great but it was much better. But everything else was stellar.”

“This hotel is certainly run down and could use some updates. The shower floor felt very spongy, like you could step right through it. We also found a pill in the room (assuming a gel Tylenol but not certain.) The carpet also felt a little damp- like it needed a dehumidifier for the room. Unfortunately the sleeping arrangements were not as pleasant either. Easily heard our neighbors down the hall and upstairs at all times of the night. Unfortunately very disappointed with the accommodations.”

“First room they put us in was terrible it smelled like cat urine then after they did change room but it wasnt any better so we just left i was creeped out”

“A perfectly serviceable place to stay. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We had to turn down the A/C but that’s always a matter of preference. The staff were very friendly. The breakfasts were just okay — we really don’t expect much. We’d definitely stay at the hotel again.”

“Very unique place to stay. Historical building and decorated beautifully. Just be aware it's also a very bustling restaurant downstairs and in the middle of town, so some traffic and outside noise is to be expected. My only real gripe was the free breakfast. There wasn't a lot of options especially if you have food sensitives to gluten or foods with preservatives etc. For such a fancy place, I expected more fresh options. Overall, it's a 9 out of 10.”

“It is clean, quiet. The only thing I do not like is that the rest room’s door cannot be closed.”

“This place is better than a back alley, but not by much. Weekend before Memorial day boiler still on and the room was 85 degrees had to open the door windows turn on the air it did not cool down until the next night. Cockroaches, they do not change the sheets inbetween guest, only thing the guy cleaning the room came out with are the towels, but i guess pretending to wash them works. Do not even ask about the bathroom, you are banging your knees to sit down and i think the shower was last used……
