“room and bathroom were in poor condition and dirty. There was a washer and dryer at the entrance adding to the smell and fogging up the place The building was run down. There were rando's in the parking lot BBQ ing? We didn't even stay the night. At least the front staff gave us a discount. ”

Nice to see the big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and body lotion instead of the silly little sample bottles that are just too much plastic. I recommend this hotel and will stay here again.”

Jen communicated well, giving all the needed instructions about entry and free parking etc. The room and all areas of the property were well appointed, very clean and had obvious attention to detail. This place is off the charts in character. I had coffee in the turret and looked out to see the St Lawrence River. The stairs require some attention by anyone who climbs them. If was a bit more expensive than other options but well worth the extra. ”

“This hotel requires a $ 100 security deposit that they put on your credit card. When you check out, they say it’s refunded but they don’t give you any documentation to show you that it’s done. They say you will see it on your statement but your bank may take a few days to process it. . When I checked out they tried to tell me, I owed for 1 night. But I had paid through Expedia, so it took them awhile to resolve it. The room was very clean and I was pleased to see a top sheet and then a……

Dust, cobwebs, generally dirty, previous guest's food crumbs on the kitchen floor, dispensers in the shower completely empty, no milk and cream in the fridge as advertised. Passive aggressive garish signage about the "rules" all over the room and property. Way overpriced. Only redeeming quality is location. ”
