"The stay was amazing, we were initially apprehensive about the lack of washroom in the cabin but the guest bathroom was fantastic and so close-by to the cabin.The bed was extremely comfortable and the fire made the cabin nice and warm despite the subzero temperatures outside. The property has has spectacular views we only wish we could've stayed longer."

"This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. "

"We had a lovely time as a family sharing this beautiful vacation rental. The property is elegant and well-maintained, there is good climate control inside, and the beds are comfortable. The lake is crystal clear and pristine, and we did a lot of swimming and used the canoe and kayaks. Getting to the lake was easy for all but one of our group, who has mobility issues; access is down a long hill with a pea gravel path. Overall, it was a lovely cottage holiday and we would recommend it to friends. "

"Online information false/misleading and the property is completely unsuitable for anyone with even minor mobility issues. I was booked for two nights but left after one and went to a motel. - notwithstanding what the website advertises, this cabin does NOT have a bathroom. A bathroom is available in the main house, 50 or so meters away. It is not separate from the host's living space (i.e. not private). "Awesome property for a group of friends trying to hangout and have a good time. Owner was super helpful and understanding on various matters. Great beach access, where you can swim to various different islands and do cliff jumping. As you can see in the photo, there was also a water trampoline which the owners allowed us to use. "Owner is very friendly and spent time to make sure everything was ok. The property lacks essentials. Make sure you bring coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, soap and shampoo for shower etc. One hand towel in bathroom, and one toilet paper, no towels for showers and none for drying dishes etc. All of this can be fixed with a trip into Sydenham Foodland or some prior planning. The view over the lake from the deck is very nice. We had a great time. "
