“We stayed at this property for four weeks during a work trip. It was comfortable, well located, and clean. We definitely recommend.”

“We didn't stay at the place reserved and got sent to a back up place right before check in. It was a strange back alley entrance with standing water and rickety steps up to the unit but confusion over which unit was ours. Once we figured it out, it was challenging to get the door to unlock and lock with the mechanism not quite lining up without pushing and pulling the door to get it just right. The toilet off one bedroom required taking the tank cover off to make it flush and to make it stop……

“Property was great and very clean. Check in process was extremely easy and very informative email was sent before check-in. The only thing that was lacking, which may be my own fault is the downstairs bedroom, the one with one bed is not a bedroom as the walls do not go to the ceiling. It offers privacy to get dressed but no privacy for conversations or intimate relations in the bedroom. The location was key so I would rent again but maybe not bring all my kids. :)”

“Overall the stay was good, and the property has its charms. You will get your steps in for the day going up and down the stairway(s). Good value and lots of space.Had an issue with the dishwasher not working. Water had backed up from previous user, and nobody checked it. This resulted in a moldy and stinky concoction growing in the bottom of the dishwasher. Contacted host that morning by text and VRBO platform. No response from host until several days later after we checked out. I had to……

“This rental was perfect for our needs. My wife and I were stopping through St. Louis on our way to another destination, and were traveling with our two small dogs. We love historic Saint Charles, and decided to book this place right on Main Street. It was just the right size for a short stay, was clean and easy to access, and was in a great spot in proximity to the shops and restaurants in the historic part of town. No complaints!”

“Place could use some updating. Ice maker in fridge did not work and the bottom drawer was a big block of ice. The door handle was broken, and I would not use the pots and pans to cook with. I think the cleaners can only do so much! It was clean but the outdated ness makes it look not clean. Lots of noise from the upper apartment? If you stay in this basement apartment.
