“It took 3/4 hour to check in, as I had used Expedia and they saved the reservation under my email, and not my name. The front desk was busy trying to get me to pay for the night and request a refund through Expedia. The room was nice, missing the threshold in front of the door, and the shower was a little grimmy, but liveable. The major problem was a large fan (somewhere in the building sounding like a hand dryer) revving to full speed for a minute, then switch off and start again, all through……

“The hotel is clean rooms as well. Staff is excellent. Pleasant and helpful. The ac unit needs to be cleaned or the filter changed as when on the room fills with musty air. Also the outside garbages was not cleaned up during our 3 day stay.”

“The staff is extremely helpful, pleasant and polite. The inn and its grounds are immaculately maintained. The breakfast served at the time of your choosing was delicious and what a treat to savor it on the private patio with the birds singing and the lovely manicured grounds to enjoy. The inn is next door to the Kingsbrae Gardens and there is a gate to enter just to the right of the front door. I enjoyed the well appointed room, the whirlpool tub and the beautiful library and living room areas.……

“A really great hotel with clean, spacious rooms in an authentic style. The rooms have a fridge and a coffee machine, and everything is very clean and well maintained. There’s free parking and a cozy little restaurant with tasty food on the first floor. There isn’t a traditional reception desk, but checking in is incredibly easy. You get all the instructions online and a door code, so everything is simple and convenient. The hosts respond very quickly, are friendly, and are always happy to help.……
