"This is a great place. Beautiful traditional furniture (e.g., four-poster bed), wallpaper, everything nicely furnished. Yes, it shows its age a bit (e.g., no elevator), but it has the wonderful “quality” feel of a “hotel” vs a motel. We always stay here when in the area."

"Great location, near the center of town. Staff was helpful & accommodating. We even received an upgrade when we checked in. While there, they were servicing the fire alarm system, but it was during the day (very noisy). The Hetitage is an aging property (been there since the 70s I think). Some of the furniture is worn. But, beds were comfortable, rooms were spotless & they make the most of a lovely setting. Nice fluffy towels! Outdoor Pool area was being readied for Memorial Day, so it wasn’t opened yet. Looked beautiful. Sorry to miss that. Definetly stay there our next visit. Best in the area, good value for the cost. Nice bar/tavern on the property. Food was decent, prices fair, staff friendly. "
