I had a really great stay the staff was so welcoming, they do charge a $100us security deposit upon arrival and it will be returned to you upon leaving. Breakfast was great everytime The place was cleaned daily when requested. walkable distance into town very close by. Would definitely stay again❤️

The complimentary breakfast is excellent, and one has a choice between a continental breakfast or a Jamaican breakfast. My favorites were the ackee and codfish, and the porridge. The gentleman managing the restaurant made sure that the breakfast was enjoyable. The rooms were cleaned regularly and with consideration for the users of the room.

Outdoor pool is being renovated slowly…. The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s in the city center, not very touristy, they are not on the beach but provide you with a public beach access that you can walk to. The breakfast food is either local (ackee and salt fish with cooked provisions, etc) or you can order a very basic American breakfast (eggs, toast,bacon etc), They have parking. There are nightlife options close by. There are also plenty of restaurants in the area. It’s safe to move around the city as a tourist.

Stayed three nights and overall satisfied with the stay. A small property located in the heart of Ocho Rios, and close to shopping and activities areas. Excellent Jamaican breakfast and friendly staff. The beach is not located on the property, but is in close vicinity across the road.

Place was decent for what it was worth. Staff was super friendly and professional. House keeping came daily to make sure the room was clean. Just wish we had a working microwave throughout our stay. That was the only downfall. I was told someone was coming to fix it and they never showed up. Other than that, it was fine.

Staff was very friendly and eager to help. However the soaps provided were close to empty, air conditioning unit did not work properly for an entire night of our stay, remote had dead batteries and we saw a roach in one of the beds. But the staff handled the last issue very well. We were given another room which would have been an upgrade free of charge and we were told the previous room was fumigated. The property is decent for the price.

This was our first time to stay at Sago Palm, a boutique hotel right in Ocho Rios, within walking distance of the beach, shops, and restaurants. We enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel for breakfast (Jamaican buffet and American menu options). We also walked down the main street to The Almond Tree Restaurant for dinner and were rewarded with a beautiful sunset view overlooking the water.

The Sago Palm Hotel was excellent - the rooms though on the small side - was expected size for a boutique hotel. They were clean and the property overall is well maintained. The staff were exceptional and all I encountered went above and beyond. The food was excellent - well thought out Jamaican styled breakfast was served every morning which is included in the booking. Lunch and dinner can be had (you have to make the request/reservation) at an additional cost. We had dinner one evening and it was tasty, hot and delicious! I would highly recommend it, not to mention the fact it is centrally located on Main Street in the heart of Ochie..so close to beaches, banks, supermarkets, Dunns River and a host of other attractions. I will definitely be going back! If there was one negative it was that I found the lighting a bit dim - good be brighter lights in the rooms.

This hotel conveniently located to all amenities in the heart of Ocho Rios was very nice. The staff were lovely. . Thank you. Comfortable hotel room - immaculate and clean as was the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was awesome with authentic delightful dishes. There is no entertainment however there a decent bar and a very nice outdoor terraced pool. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
