"The room was clean and well maintained. The night and morning staff were both very friendly. The free breakfast setup looked decent. The price was very fair as well. My only complaint is that the hot tub was not working. This was especially disappointing for me as I specifically searched for a hotel with a hot tub so I could soak, so I was not too pleased to see that it was out of order."

"The facility was clean, and the staff was helpful. However, some of the furniture, shower curtain, are starting to show signs of wear and tear. The breakfast was really a continental breakfast, not a full breakfast, no cooked meat protein - only hard-boiled eggs, and lots and lots of carbs."

"Awesome place for a getaway. So beautiful and charming. The innkeepers were present and very responsive with making sure our stay was comfortable. The breakfast tasted homemade and the environment was pleasant. Recommend 100%."

"The breakfast was one of the best ever. Every choice you could imagine and plenty of each. The fruit was fresh, which is usually not the case when a bowl is set out at other hotels. I was late getting down at 9:55 a.m. and the desk gal said “Take as much time as you need; I can wait.“ So kind to accommodate me."

"Very spacious and comfortable with fishing accessibility. Beautiful sunsets and ample onsite parking . Well equipped kitchen. Great for our five family gathering. Public pickleball courts in close proximity."

"This property is beautifully situated on the lake front. We swam off the boat dock, ate breakfast on the deck and watched a lightning storm in the distance. Breathtaking views! Very clean and organized; all the beds were comfy with many choices of pillows. Two laundry rooms and numerous beach towels made it easy to enjoy the lake and Okoboji beaches. Great place for families with two full living room spaces! We did not use the second house because our group was smaller. We used the message host feature and received quick replies. We would have appreciated a book with basic details such as internet password etc, but once we got the info all was perfect. Highly recommend!"
