“We very much enjoyed this property and met the owners. They take pride in their property and care about their guests. They had just changed out all the bed mattresses which was quite comfortable. The location was quiet and convenient to Spencer activities. The breakfast options were better than most 2-star hotels.We will stay here again!”

“The staff was very welcoming and available. We enjoyed a drink at the bar later in the evening. The bartender ensured we were happy with our drinks! The breakfast room was a long way from our room and there was a problem with the decaf coffee - a minor inconvenience. The pool was even further away but, we ended up with no extra time to swim anyway. Our rooms were comfortable and clean.”

“Just a fun place. Games and fire pits on the lawn. Even the wifi code is kinda fun. My wife and I try to stay here whenever we go to Okoboji.”

“The breakfast was nice and included. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean, but the property is showing its age. The price seems high given the overall quality, but options are limited in Spencer and likely as good as you will find.”

“Very peaceful and serene stay. Beautiful outdoor gardens and relaxing areas. Rooms were well supplied to include a lovely shower steamer to help you feel refreshed. The Hosts/Owners are very accommodating and prepared to meet all your needs. Definitely will be a repeat stay.”

“Our room was filthy. Garbage under the bed and in the corners, including a used tin of chewing tobacco, beer caps, moldy food rappers, and dead bugs all over the floor by the window. Both beds had dead bugs in it too. Pillow cases were dirty with what looked like sweat marks. Makes you wonder if the sheets were even cleaned at alll. No microwave, fridge, or breakfast as advertised. The diner on the property was closed due to the cool quitting? This stay and hotel was a total bust. Owner wouldn’t……

“I LIKED HOW QUIET THE MOTEL WAS AT NIGHT. I DID NOT HERE ANY SOUNDS FROM THE OTHER ROOMS NEARBY.THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. SORRY I DID NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE BREAKFAST. THE SHOPS AROUND THE MOTEL WERE VERY PLENTIFUL, IT WAS HARD TO DECIDE WHICH RESTAURANT TO GO TO.”
