"I paid almost $300 for a room and because I have my medical card and they could smell the dispensary product after I walked out, they charged me $250.00 for a smoking fee and when I tried to explain the situation to the general manager, I got jerked around the first day then the second day put on hold and hung up on and constantly put back on hold. I can be seen on camera going outside to smoke my vape and my husband to smoke his black and mild numerous times. Now anyone who smokes black and mild knows that you roll it and pour out some of the guts then bend the top back. Again I tried to explain this to the general manager who was raving about housekeeping pictures but there is no ash. Find an ash I dare you. I am legally aloud to have my product with me while at a hotel. As long as I don't smoke it in the room. I am aloud to break it apart to fill my vape and then take it outside. They have no real proof of smoking. As I said there is no ash. Just crumbs of a cigar in a trash can and maybe something may have escaped onto the floor. These people have no idea what they are talking about. They just assume from a smell then charge all that money. This is so unfair. I at this point am willing to hire a lawyer for this $250 charge. It may cost more to do so but it just isn't right when you know you are 1000 percent innocent and no one will listen even when you nicely try to explain you just get ignorance in return. ."

"First of all, Willow Grove was until recently obviously a member of a national franchise chain. All former logo materials have been removed and there is a shroud over the front entrance. Properties can exit national franchises for any number of reasons. I don't know the reasoning here. But several things would have appeared on a Licensed Operations inspector's report: the front sliding doors were clanky and sounded unreliable. The lobby floor and elevator corridor walls and floors were stained and appeared dirty. The elevator was very scuffed up. The room's wall thermostat was dead - just blank and inoperable. The phone to the lobby was dead. The curtain shears were torn. That said, the floors were freshly vacuumed, the bath was clean and so were the linens. The housekeeping staff appears to work hard and pretty well. Maintenance and repair is an issue. This property will probably go one of two very different ways in the coming months. I hope things get better, and that it re-establishes a relationship with a national chain. If it remains an independent, I am afraid it will become an over-built and under-maintained budget property. On another front, parking was good, breakfast was adequate and staff, when called upon, were polite and helpful. One other thing - it badly needs a street sign. When the national sign went down, nothing replaced it. It's easy to just drive past if you don't have an app that tells you it's there. That's not good for business."

"We stayed 2 nights. All the staff were nice. It is an older property that seems to be in the process of updating the facilities. But it was clean. Breakfast area was clean and food was fresh. Overall not bad for a quick meal. The only issue we had was the spare roll of toilet paper had roach eggs and baby roaches in it. But that could be from the manufacturer or distributor. Didn't see any evidence of bugs anywhere else in building. I did inform front desk of problem, and they let housekeeping know and room was thoroughly cleaned that day."
