The Sweet Life

The Sweet life really makes you feel like you are living The Sweet Life! This home is a gorgeous 6 bedroom vacation home with 6 bathrooms and can sleep up to 14 guests. There is a beautiful private pool and spillover spa where you can relax and soak up the Florida sun.  

As you enter the lower floor, there is an elegant and sleek living area with a fully equipped kitchen with all the latest appliances, a breakfast bar that sits 4 and a dining table sitting up to 8 guests. There is an ample sitting space making it the perfect spot to gather the whole family.

On the ground floor there is a king-sized bedroom with its very our private en-suite. Upstairs you will find 2 king size bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms both containing bunk beds, 1 full bedroom with 2 double beds in, all of which includes a private en-suit. If you are looking for indoor activities, The Sweet Life has you covered with a home theatre, Foosball, Basketball Hoop and a pool table for you to enjoy. 

Encore Resort has an on-site waterpark with thrilling drops, chutes and twisting slides as well as pools and water jets. There are various on-location restaurants and bars, sports courts, a fitness center and kid’s area. You can also take advantage of the free shuttle service to Disney world and other close-by theme parks.

Wonderfully clean home!
It was a pleasure to find this home. The home was impeccably clean and the pool was warm for the kids. Body wash and shampoo and conditioner was sufficient for the week. We all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home to others!

Property management left a lot to be desired
We had several issues with the property manager. Before we ever got to the property, there were ongoing issues with receiving information promised to us. When we called, they repeatedly tried to send it, telling us they used different email accounts and apparently those used didn’t deliver the message to us. The morning of our arrival, we had the same problem—no communication as promised. This resulted in arriving at the property with no code for either the gate to the property or entry to the house we had rented. We got onto the grounds by explaining the situation to the gate attendant and showing our rental agreement. When we finally got a code for the house, it didn’t work. The explanation we got was that the door had to be rekeyed. With three children under age five—including an infant—we waited in the driveway for maintenance to recode. He finally came 45 minutes later, telling us he would have been there in 5 minutes if the property manager had communicated with him correctly about the situation. When we finally were able to get into the house, the trash had not been emptied from the outside bins, and they were full. We called in about this issue and were told by Jeeze that the property management was responsible for the taking away the trash daily. It was not removed until the day we left, six days later. That’s the day we saw a huge cockroach crawling up the kitchen wall. We left a day early and prepaid for the pool heated the entire stay. No refund despite request.

Family Disney trip
Was a really fun place to stay, my grandkids were very thrilled with the princess and super hero’s bedrooms , the water park was fun, drive to the parks easy and they loved the pool. It worked very well for the 6 adults and 5 kids ages 4, 5,6,6 and 8, would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Stay
Wonderful home for nine of us to gather and go to the parks daily. So easy. The house was perfect in every way and the amenities super! We walked to the clubhouse for a few meals at Finn and had a really positive experience.

I didn’t like that I was scammed into believing that the property was 1 min walk from Disney. The Ad clearly shows 1 minute walk from Disney. ( I have pics for proof) They did not put the correct address and put a totally different one instead. We have been driving for 3 hours trying to get through to these people we also had kids with us. When we Finally got through after so long, they said they tried to email us, which I got none of, and then they also said that the emails kept bouncing back to them, so if you knew it was bouncing back how do you expect me to get it? …I asked her why is the address incorrect it’s a totally different location, she couldn’t answer, I asked why didn’t you call me she said she did today, I asked why didn’t you call me before? Because I called 2 days before this trip to find out if I can ship some stuff to the house before hand, they said no you can’t, that’s ok, but I called, no one could have spoken to me about my trip then to receive the info To sign? and they said that’s not the address, so for anyone’s sake, the address they put on Expedia, is NOT THE RIGHT ONE. I would have never booked with them if I only knew that the correct address was over half an hour away from Disney world. The property was nice yes. Everything was good. But that’s not the problem, the problem is we were scammed into thinking the property was right by Disney. I am a travel agent, and to see this happening is very discouraging to rebook again with them.

Great house for a large family. Very clean and property management was extremely responsive for any inquiries. During our January stay, requesting the heated pool was fantastic! Would definitely stay again.

Great Family Vacation
This house was perfect for my whole family. We each had our own room with bathroom so there was no fighting over whose turn it was in the shower. The pool was fantastic. The only thing is that the property is about 15-20min from DisneyWorld, but the free shuttle was the best! We didn’t have to worry about traffic or finding our car after a long day at the parks. It was nice to just board the shuttle and be taken home. I will recommend this home and resort to everyone going to Disney. It saves so much money and provides so many more amenities!

Family Friendly Stay
We had a good stay overall but the internet and pool not working were our only issue. They were very responsive to our concerns and issues while staying at this property. The pool was fixed within a couple days but there wasn't much that could be done about the internet since that was a provider issue and they did notify us with a letter in the beginning of our stay. It was more disappointing for my children since their devices weren't able to work without a hotspot and the tv's in the kids rooms. Overall, I would definitely stay here again but would also recommend bringing your own towels and wash cloths. Some were definitely rough and we ended up purchasing some from the local Wal Mart to use.I will add that the WaterPark on the resort is an added bonus and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We had a fantastic stay. The property is very spacious and the kitchen is well-stocked with items for cooking, we found everything we needed. We would suggest laminated instructions on using the coffee pot near it and a few larger trash cans in the bedrooms. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, we definitely recommend the pool heater as it was quite chilly without it. Very short drive (15 mins?) to Walt Disney World, pretty easy as well. We had enough cars to drive there, it would be tricky to take an Uber or Lyft as the gates require a code to open. All in all, we had a great time and would stay again.
