The staff were excellent—friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. The room felt spacious, the AC was nice and cold (a big plus in Florida heat!), and the bed was comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was decent—basic continental stuff like cereal, pastries, and coffee, but it did the job and was included. On the downside, the shower curtain rod was damaged, so the curtain wouldn’t fully close, which was annoying during showers. The room wasn’t fully clean either—some areas felt overlooked by housekeeping. That said, for what we paid, it delivered exactly what we’d expect from a budget spot: functional, comfortable basics without frills. If cleanliness and perfect maintenance are top priorities, you might want to look elsewhere, but if you’re after affordable convenience near attractions, this works fine. Things look like they're from the 90s but if your goal is to just have a bed and a shower and no meth being cooked next door, this is the hotel for you. One gripe I have: they charge an $8/day fee for basically no reason, and you don't find out until you're checking in. I asked the lady what the fee was for, and she just shrugged her shoulders and said "all the resorts around here charge a resort fee" and that was that. I could either pay the fee, or find another hotel at 10pm on Friday night.
