"This house is a dream come true for a large group. We are a family of 9 with 4 children, 3 of them teenagers. There was plenty of room for everyone. Everything in the home is working and complete. Anything we used in the kitchen and outdoor grill was perfect and ready to use. There was plenty of paper products, towels and linens. The beach was lovely; we rarely saw another person. It was easy to get to the beach from the yard. I'm older and was a little worried about that. The family enjoyed snorkeling, kayaking, sunbathing, and even fishing. The home had everything we needed for time at the beach. I especially appreciated the large selection of water shoes and snorkel gear. This saved us some money on a rafting excursion. The property is beautiful and great for playing in the yard. The house is very secure. We lacked nothing in this lovely home. The location is good for getting around the island. The neighborhood is quiet. The temperature in the house was comfortable, and so were the beds. I have never stayed at a VRBO property that was a well cared for and had no surprises or problems. I looked at a lot of properties before I picked this house. I'm so glad I spent a little extra, nothing compared to this house and all that it has to offer."

"This property was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space for the 10 of us. We had 3 rental cars and parking was not a problem at all. The view was incredible. "Our first trip to Kaua’i was to The Tranquility Blue Bungalow, a beachfront property with stunning views. We had hoped to spot local wildlife, but in addition what we discovered was that the beauty of Kaua’i is indescribable.Nestled off the beaten path, the bungalow offered privacy. Every day, we were treated to the sight of monk seals swimming and galumphing across the rocks. Turtles bobbed in the bay, and the locals marked their nesting spots with driftwood and signs. On our final day, we were fortunate enough to witness the playful spinner dolphins.We embraced the tropical atmosphere by waking up early and savoring every meal outdoors, soaking in the breathtaking surroundings. The warm, soft sand and the crystal-clear, turquoise-blue water. The landscaping around the bungalow was a masterpiece of its own with flowering trees, cozy nooks with tables and chairs, a fire ring and hammocks under the gazebo.The bungalow itself was charming and provided a comfortable space for preparing meals and resting. However, we found ourselves spending most of our time outside. Hawaii is the tropics and we weren’t looking for a resort so expect bugs, geckos, toads, snails and chickens. More wildlife. Our hosts were incredibly personal, warm, and friendly, making our stay truly memorable.We would enjoy a return to Kaua’i and to this specific spot."

"The property is UNBELIEVABLE!! The grounds are breathtaking and so well-maintained. My kids (10 and 12) had the best time petting the horse down the road and the neighbor’s sweet dog. The tiny geckos and interesting birds were a lot of fun, too. It’s a paradise!As for the house, it’s HUGE. We loved the outdoor shower, the meditation areas, the laundry facilities are great, the kitchen is stocked! There are so many comfy places to sit on the lanai, and appreciated the AC units in the bedrooms at night. The host also provided shampoos and conditioners for all the showers, tons of towels, boogie boards, and beach chairs and coolers and all sorts of helpful items. We will absolutely consider booking again if we return to the island."

"Our family’s first visit to Hawaii exceeded our expectations! The Bond house was perfect for 7 adults. The home is located in a quiet part of the island (low traffic and activity), which is very nice. There is a public beach within walking distance, but we did not go there as this home is ocean front. The view is spectacular! Morning coffee with a sunrise is hard to beat! The kitchen was well stocked, bath and beach towels were plentiful, as were beach supplies—chairs, snorkeling equipment, etc."

"The location and grounds are extraordinary -- a quick walk to the beach (be careful of the rips, it's only safe to swim on the sides of the beach); stunning vegetation - so many fruit trees! The porch is where we spent most of our time, playing cards on the dining table or lounging in the hammock. It was a perfect stay for our family of six to gather in relaxation and surrounded by nature. As others have noted, the home could use a bit of love and a deep clean, but realize that living in the tropics is a huge challenge! The kitchen could use an inventory review as some basics were missing, but overall, these issues were very minor given the memorable experience the property afforded our family . . . thank you!"

"The home was good overall. The location is very convenient for getting around the island, and the hosts were responsive and left some nice goodies for us at check-in. The house itself feels a bit dated and worn, with an unusual layout. The main living space is upstairs, which includes the kitchen, living room, dining area, deck with jacuzzi, and the primary bedroom/bathroom. One challenge is that the only TV and bathroom on this level are located inside the primary bedroom, so access requires going through the bedroom or heading downstairs. The private deck off the primary bedroom wasn’t usable as had no furniture and was dirty. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils. The living room setup was less comfortable; the couch had very thin cushions and sat quite low to the ground, and without a TV in that area, it wasn’t ideal for gathering and relaxing but it did have a very nice view of the ocean.The remaining bedrooms are located downstairs. The sofa beds are in the theater room, which felt a bit cramped, and this room is situated at the back of the house without an ocean view."
