“The hosts upgraded us from a room to an apartment—it was a complimentary upgrade which allowed us to prepare our own breakfast and dinner with food from nearby markets. They gave us wonderful advice on day trips from the property and took a genuine interest in our day trips and lives. We will stay here again if we come back to Avignon. If I knew they had a heated swimming pool and hot tub I would have brought a bathing suit.”

“Our stay at Bastide de Bellegarde was easily one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. The property is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and has a warmth that immediately puts you at ease. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. What truly sets this place apart is the host, Brian. He is incredibly welcoming and personable, and he creates an experience that goes beyond just a stay. “There is no parking area near or adjacent to the hotel and you have to walk 10 minutes and park in a public carpark. The front of the hotel is a pedestrian zone from 1400hrs and no car could enter to drop off luggage.”
