"Average hotel, looks like it was remodeled around 10-15 years ago. It's decently clean, can't say I agree with the 8-9 exceptional score listed on Hotels.com reviews. Bathroom tiles were loose in the floor and the shower looked like it hadn't been deep cleaned in months. Pool was inoperative, only one working elevator that led to musty smelling lobbies. Would not recommend to anyone unless desperately needing a room to stay. "

"We stayed at the La Quinta Inn by Wyndham in Duncanville, Texas on March 12th to March 13th, 2026. The stay was horrible because we saw roaches during our stay. The hotel room wasn’t quite the feel that the pictures portrayed on the internet. We stayed on the second floor and our rooms flooring didn’t meet up with the wall and had gaps throughout the entire room and restroom. I saw roaches coming in and out of these gaps in the room and the restroom as well. I killed a few of the roaches and we didn’t feel comfortable in our room during our visit. I was very disappointed in our stay because of roaches and we couldn’t even sleep that well because of being uncomfortable. I was at least looking forward to the warm morning breakfast; unfortunately that didn’t go well either. The eggs were shaped like a thick round patty and the sausage had a greasy film on it. I took a little piece of one egg and it was horrible. Then I tried a little piece of the sausage and quickly spit it out because it was terrible and nasty. I ended up getting two strawberry yogurts and left. I couldn’t believe that was even called a breakfast. I would not recommend booking this hotel on the basis of having roaches in their rooms and not having a presentable breakfast. This was my worst stay in any hotel and I’ve stayed at La Quintas and Wyndham’s before. I called Wyndham Corp, they gave me a ref # and 13 days later no one has contacted me back or emailed me to follow up. NEVER will book here again!!!"

"I’m really happy with our stay overall. The room had a fully functioning sink, fridge, microwave, tv, ac, and lighting. The shower sprayed water everywhere which made the bathroom floor a big puddle, and the bedding had holes in the comforter. The mattress was stiff but tolerable for a couple days. At one point we could not get into our room and needed the entry card fixed. It was in a quiet area, off the highway with a beautiful view of the sunset. If I’m in the area again I wouldn’t mind having another stay here. "
