“If you are looking for a boutique hotel right on the beach, look no farther. You feel like you are in the jungle yet you have the pacific right in front of you. We saw monkeys, iguanas and lots of tropical birds.

“We stayed in Papagayo for the final night of our honeymoon due to its close proximity to Liberia airport. “We checked in earlier than expected, and the staff was nice enough to provide us with Unit 6. Unfortunately, it was in very poor condition and looked like it hadn't been updated in decades. There were even holes in the door that you could see outside through. The safe didn't work either, so the staff kindly moved us to Unit 21.
