“Staff was amazing. Carol was very kind and friendly. We arrived very late and she had our room all ready and welcomed us with cheerful smiles eventhough it was almost 11pm. Food was great and staff was very responsive when we needed something. Parking is great too. We will stay there again.”

“OLDER MOTEL WAS CLEAN IN ROOM BUT GROUND DIRTY. WE HAD NO HOT WATER IN SHOWER FOR 2 DAYS”

“The place is pristine. We only stayed one night because we were visiting a client in the area and needed to come back. But the place invites you to stay longer. The condo has everything we need. They even had 7 different types of coffee. The view is amazing, and we even cooked. The kitchen is well equipped. The bedroom is spacious, and the bed is super comfortable. We would love to stay longer.”

“We liked the contemporary decor and that it was right on the water.”

“Upon arrival, the owner was standing at the main lobby desk, alongside another employee. He has zero customer service skills. Acknowledge every guest as they enter and show eye contact, add a smile! The property is very dated. My room stunk - a simple air freshener powder on the carpet before vacuuming could go a long ways. I had to crank the a/c in late October to help with the smell. It’s an ideal location and the ladies at front desk were very kind. Breakfast - forget about it. A one bed……

“not much to do unless you have a boat or like to golf. The property is small but ok for 1 night stay”

“My husband and I had a great getaway weekend here at Smith Mountain Lake. Wonder places to eat on site or nearby with great staff and beautiful atmosphere. We rented a boat and despite the hazy conditions and low lake levels, had a wonderful time. Fitness center and pools were amazing. Thanks for a great time!”

“Other than the fact half the place smelled like for all the weed smokers that were there it was good.”

“Property was perfect. Very clean and comfy. The view was awesome. Would stay again.”

“Very nice place. Lots of things to do. Every where was very clean”

“Perfect”

“My brother and I stayed to do a little fishing. We had a good time and had lunch at Tiffany’s. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“We had a fantastic family stay at Bernard’s Landing. The condo was clean, comfortable, quiet, and a great home base for exploring Smith Mountain Lake. The location was the biggest highlight. We enjoyed the private lakeside beach, pools, walking paths, waterfront views, and beautiful sunsets without needing to drive everywhere. We rented a pontoon from The Dock at Smith Mountain Lake and spent a full day boating, tubing, swimming, and relaxing on the water. We also visited Smith Mountain Lake……

“Very nice condo in a resort community. We were just passing through but should have stayed a few days! So many things to do and see! The condo is well appointed and very comfortable. Be aware that there isn't any food shopping or coffee shops within walking distance, so you should stock up in town. Taylor was a great host with excellent communication and recommendations. A-plus stay!”
