“My sister and I had a great time staying in the cozy cabin. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch listening to the trees sway and the geese honking. We had our evening cocktails by the fire pit, looking at the stars and listening to the cicada or crickets. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. This place had everything that we needed to use as a base camp as we explored the thrift shops in Carbondale, the antique stores in Carterville, and hiking at Giant City State Park. ”

“This cabin and property was everything and more than we expected. The cabin was very clean and cute and the property was private. “This was the perfect location to surprise my wife with a new puppy, the location was exactly as advertised, private lake and huge property only shared with 2 other cabins, when we stayed there was noone else but use so it was perfect. AC and heat worked great. Cabin came fully stocked and was plenty spacious for the 3 of us. Managing company Vacasa was very responsive when responding to our inquiry. Would definitely stay again!!
