“This hotel is centuries old and is in a beautiful Tuscan setting in a VERY small town. There are no restaurants or shops in this town. The hotel, while serving an excellent European breakfast, does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner. If you don't have a car, you're stuck. The first night, we had to hire a cab to take us into Montefollonico. We went to a lovely restaurant (Gobbi 13) and we had a delicious meal, but the cab ride cost us 125 EU. The hotel staff was very sympathetic. ……

The suite itself was classy and full of character. We had a brilliant private spa experience which was super relaxing after a long driver during the day. The resort is about a 10 minute walk to the lower part of Montepulicano. From the resort, there are amazing views of the top of Montepulciano, and the valley below. The room was very clean with all of the amenities that are expected. We spent time at the pool, which was very relaxing and refreshing. The staff serve food and……
