Maintenance was very poor. The door to 216 had to be tried 4 to 6 times before it would open. There was no cold water to be basin. The clock did not work. When the bathroom light would not work, I requested another room, 324, this was much better. When I turned on the AC, it sounded like rocks and water were rolling around in the ductwork. Too loud to sleep. There was no clock and the phone had no instructions about calling the desk. While the staff was friendly and helpful, they had little interest in getting the issues fixed.

Entry & front desk area appeared neglected, banged up and dirty floor. Laundry room had broken machines & messy. Bath water never got hot, only Luke warm, faucet handle slid off. Ceiling vent/filter was about to come down, suite area table was about to topple over, counter top near microwave was coming apart (total germ trap!). Older facilities are fine, but this was neglected.

The curtains were ripped, the lampshades bashed in, leaks in the bathrooms, no clean towels for an 8 day stay for 2 people, the lock was terrible and the door handle loose; this made the key card VERY DIFFICULT. We will NEVER be back. The staff was very friendly.

The bathroom door had been punched through. Not refurbished for years. Door handles broken, floor around toilet sinking, door on microwave damaged, carpet was in good condition, the tile was cracked, the tub had chunks out of it, the sink was very cracked, hairdryer would only work for a couple minutes and then you had to let cool off, bathroom broken, etc.

Customer service was great. Only issue i had was the bedding was dirty/ stained. Looked like old blood. It looked like our room wasn't even cleaned, the coffee maker had mold from a old coffee filter that wasn't taken out. The fridge stunk so bad because their was old water left in it.

The hotel room has falling curtains, broken and bent lamp shades, stained towels, toilet was not secure, and the entire hotel isn't taken care of at all. You can hear others conversations until 2am. Trains come by every 15 minutes. Hallways missing lights, very dark and smell. We left early due to the the condition of the hotel and the noise from other rooms. One staff member was very kind.

The "free" breakfast consisted of a fruit, yogurt, muffin and a snack bar. Normally breakfast means a hot breakfast--very disappointing. The safe was locked when we arrived and it took them a whole day to figure out how to unlock it. The toliet plugged up and the guy brought the plunger and asked me if I wanted to use it--umm, NO. He did clear it. When we checked out, I asked for the final bill to be emailed--it never came. The whole property needs a full remodeling and upgrade. For $200 a night, we expected better. Will not stay there again.

Room had bad odor like cigar. Outlets did not work and carpet was dirty. Breakfast was not provided. Unsafe area and not family friendly at all. Many people walking around the hotel and vehicle area. Decided to leave after the 1st night. Note: The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and kind.

We stay predominantly at wyndom hotels but this days in by wyndom in surprise was lousy. The breakfast was a brown bag, the tub had no plug, the people around the hotel parking lot wasn't the best. And the price, almost $200.00 for the night. We will not be staying at wyndom in Surprise again.

The hotel was just okay. For whatever reason the main halls and the room itself were dimly lit. The door often only opened after a couple to several tries despite having the correct key. The bed headboard to one of the beds looked like it needed to be reolaced; and the main light in the room had a bulb out. I wouldn't say it was poor; but it was far from excellent.

The staff and management were absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately, they are working with an outdated property in desperate need of repair and remodeling. It looks like they are starting to take steps in that direction, so it's very likely that things will improve. Maybe give them a couple months and try again!

Checked in late because my plane was delayed. Within 10 minutes of being in my room, I booked with another hotel in the area. The room was filthy and in disrepair. Broken table legs & floor lamps, stained bed linens, holes in the bath towels, other guests hair in the bathroom, God only knows what was on the curtains (looked like body fluids), the towel rack was ripped out of the wall and on the floor under the sink, stained sofa with mismatched cushions, burn marks in the lamp shades...I could go on and on, but it was definitely not worth the almost $700 I paid for four nights. I contacted Wyndham directly as many prior reviews stated that the on-site manager was confrontational and rude, refusing to refund for poor conditions. Between that and Expedia contacting the hotel manager, I was able to get refunded for the three nights I forfeited. I would definitely not recommend this hotel, unless a $50/night experience for $150/night price is what you're looking for.

The last night of my stay other guests were playing music very loudly, from late night to early morning. I could hear the loud music in my room all night. The walls must be very thin.
