"While the restaurant was excellent, the hotel quaint and the town wonderful, there were a few concerning features of my stay. The elevator was out for my entire stay with no advance notice, necessitating carrying a suitcase up and down a steep staircase. The carpet in the room was very extremely old appearing, and the bed was very uncomfortable without support and left me with a backache. For the high price, I was disappointed. There was no refrigerator or safe in the room either."

"Needed a dog friendly place to stay in Jackson for one night. Pros: dog fee only $25, friendly staff, pool looked inviting (although we didn’t use it), clean and comfy bed, AC worked well, quiet and safe. Con: room had an odor to it…hard to tell if it was smoke or new paint or funk and breakfast had limited selection of healthy options, room in tv was small, only one very small patch of fake turf for dog to go potty…lots of big weeds elsewhere. Overall a nice, affordable place to spend the night. And it shared a parking lot with a delicious Indian & Nepali restaurant!"

"Large comfy rooms. Rustic decor. Amazing staff, very friendly. Soft serve and donut treats were a nice surprise. Located close to downtown Murphys. "

"Terrible place. Never came to clean the room. We stayed for 3 days and were gone for long periods of time. No clean towels. Room smelled like urine. Had dogs been in there before us? Left early. Couldn’t wait to get out of there."

"Fabulous building and rooms. Amazing decor, rooms are smaller than average but this reflects the building’s architecture. Grab and go breakfast with the option for a buffet breakfast. Spotlessly clean, fluffy towels."

"No one on reception on arrival. Rang the bell twice and had to ring the tel no. Young man was apologetic. The room is large. Bed has plastic sheet (we know why but not pleasant to sleep on) and the top sheet had a couple of holes in it. No ice machine. Wi-Fi was very intermittent and kept dropping out even though there was only a few guests staying. Breakfast, grab and go."
