The room was not very clean. It was obvious the floors hadn’t been swept/vacuumed, the shower walls had not been cleaned (hair and soap visible), the microwave had many finger prints visible, the top sheet was stained and had holes in it, the fitted sheet was fine but felt old and pilled, the tv never had signal, and the phone in the room did not work. It also toppled a tree that hit a car in the parking lot. None of that was the fault of the hotel or the staff, but it resulted in the morning staff being overwhelmed by the number of people who needed assistance. There was a single desk worker who was being pulled in multiple directions trying to serve everyone. He was stressed out, but remained professional and friendly in spite of it all. The property is well kept, clean, and comfortable. The signage is unique and fun. Instead of just saying "Elevator," the sign read something like, "Need a little lift?" Unexpected and fun! Bs ause of its location off of the main road, the rooms were very quiet. The beds were firm and comfortable. Night stand outlet barely held my plug, toilet roll holder coming out of the wall. The walls are extremely thin so bring ear plugs. The staff is amazing hands down. Cleanliness: that was the downfall for this hotel. Stains in the carpet in hallways, few on the room furniture. When I checked in, my original room had chest hair, long female hair on the the bed and pillow. That prompted me to go to the front desk and ask for room service to come service the room. I was informed they had left for the day but would switch me rooms without me asking. They apologized mutiple times and corrected the issue quickly.
