Very clean. Courteous staff.

The hotel was very clean and we'll kept. The lobby has a nice big sitting area that has a bar in it. We ordered some food from the bar at 10 pm and it was excellent. The room was a little small. It seemed smaller than normal Marriotts. Excellent hotel and very nice staff. Very friendly.

Nice hotel, well located.

Pros: Its location.
Cons: Only the aforementioned thermostat and a thorough post room cleaning inspection.
Location: As a former Pleasanton resident, the location served my needs regarding access to food and shopping. Also, good freeway access.
Overall, hotel was a generally good experience. The first day, we found a dirty towel left in the bathroom. The thermostat worked well in one room which was excellent because we had an elderly person accompanying my wife and me. However, the experience was quite different in our adjoining room because the thermostat did not work well. The room was chilly throughout our stay and we could not get it to stay on. The staff was excellent and responsive to our requests, particularly in bringing us a microwave oven.

Nice room.

The room was nice but I was charged by the Hotel on top of Expedia. Then got it reversed, then a second one appeared the next day. The billing issue was just super inconvenient and it happened twice, with no attempt and compensation or a little something extra. It's not that the staff was unfriendly, I just remember having more effort with guest service recovery with other hotels when an issue like this would arise. Probably won't be returning just to avoid any future complications.

Our Stay

Pros: Very clean, friendly staff, excellent accommodations. Loved frig, beds, heat, coffee, good size bathroom. Easy access for disabled husband.
Cons: Two problems mentioned above. Also, reservation included two buffet breakfasts and there were 3 of us. We had to buy one breakfast elsewhere.
Location: Great location, close to friends/family we were visiting nearby.
We had only two problems; no hot water the next morning, which, after going to the front desk, was solved quickly (we were told there were too many guests & hot water level needed to be turned up). The other was bed situations. When we made reservations, we requested two beds because we had our minor grandchild with us. When we checked in around 2:30 p.m., we were told there was only a king bed in the room. They said they would get us another bed for our grandchild shortly. We left to visit friends/family (the purpose of our trip). However, when we returned at around 1:30 a.m., the bed was not there. After a visit to the front desk, it was brought to us right away. The hotel was clean, nice room, friendly staff and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back but did want to mention the problems so perhaps they can be avoided in the future. Thank you

Overall stay was great. I left something of mine inside the hotel room. I've called twice and have yet to receive a response from housekeeping.

Cons: Staff was friendly but did not inform us about the holiday schedule changes for breakfast, so we missed breakfast. Would have been nice to know.
What I did not like: No in house movies, The guide on the TV remote didn't work. The refrigerator was unplugged so was warm when we got there (and we needed it), the lights above the bed were unplugged and it took over an hour for someone to come to our room to help us. We were not aware it was just a plug in issue, although we would not have been able to get to the outlets anyway. It was close to my son's for Thanksgiving, but may not stay there again.
