"I chose to stay here because it was the cheaper hotel in the area and close for work . I don't usually stay somewhere due to price but was trying to save my company the extra buck. I was honestly surprised on how clean the hotel was and how taken care of the property was. For the price I got a steal. The room was very clean and had a nice presentation to it . I had to leave before break but I'm sure it was amazing (Smelled amazing ) For the price and location you couldn't beat it . Definitely will stay again soon ."

"While the property is a bit dated, we found our spacious room to be clean and very comfortable. Having their wonderful restaurant within the same building as our room proof to be an absolute delight. One issue that we encountered was at our arrival which was about an hour early. Her being early was an understandable problem as we didn’t realize Michigan city was in the central time zone as we were traveling through Central Indiana, and on eastern time. The young lady at the desk seemed completely unengaged and merely informed us that we were early and that was pretty much too bad for us. However, once we came back check-in was reasonably pleasant. We will definitely look forward to coming back and spending another peaceful weekend."

"The Hotel and staffs are nice helpful. It's a blessing for those who enjoy alcoholic beverage, one can have some drinks on the casino and walk straight to your hotel room. However, this property is located at an industrial area. I do not recommend strolling beyound the hotel's property as its very dark, isolated and sketchy. This gives a completely difgerent perspective of Chicago and city vibes that one would be expecting from."

"AMAZING VIEW!!!! This is a great place for 2 couples or a small family. The huge deck is so nice.Everything was so close and convenient.We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend"

"We enjoyed our stay at The Blue Heron on the upper floor. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the lake and the hot tub in our room. This hotel is outdated but the vibe is great if you’re looking for a laid back lakeside atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and we enjoyed a nice dinner at Tbones with wonderful service. My only warning to anyone with a sensitive nose is that the use of floral disinfectant is quite strong through the building. We did appreciate the coffee in the lobby and the breakfast in the morning. Thank you to the staff who work very hard there!"

"Very quick to respond and very helpful with the glitch for streaming on TV! Thr bed was very comfortable and the laundry was great with us traveling on motorcycle! Definitely would stay again!"
